Plant Box is a cleverly simple living wall & vertical garden, with a unique watering system that makes looking after plants so easy! You can opt for the mini (3 troughs), a medium (5 troughs), or go large with 10 troughs to create a living wall 1.2 metres across. PlantBox will transform a plain, uninspiring wall into something to admire and you will be the envy of your guests.
The Plant Box is very easy to build, lightweight and sturdy. You create your living wall by stacking the units and, either stand on the ground, or cleverly with a drill and attach to a wall. The perfect solution for a residential project.
No daily watering with PlantBox!
Each planting trough has a 1.8 litre water reservoir. That’s enough for 1 or 2 weeks, depending on location, weather and how thirsty the plants are. The reservoir and wicking-felt means that plants take up water as they need it, so you don’t need to worry about over-watering either.
No more guesswork about when to water: a water level indicator on each trough of your PlantBox living wall means the plants will tell you when they’re thirsty.
You can get creative. The troughs have a good planting depth for a huge range of foliage plants, perennials, annual flowering plants, vegetables, herbs and salad crops.

This unique modular living wall system, with its interchangeable plant cassettes in two sizes, makes it possible to give a sustainable and vibrant appearance to both flat and curved walls.

This not only looks wonderful but also contributes to greater biodiversity, while purifying the air and controlling heat. Unlimited areas of application
The modular system offers infinite options for use. The corrosion-resistant profiles can be installed both horizontally and vertically, depending on the format and layout of the backing wall. The profiles provide the bearing structure for the plant cassettes measuring 40 x 40 cm and the quarter cassettes (pixels) of 20 x 20 cm.
Space for plants in the living wall system
The plant cassettes are fitted with two spacious slots for plants of varying size. The MobiPanel living wall as a result lends itself to a broad range of plants, whether pre-grown or planted on site. The plants take up water from the internal water buffer via capillary microfibre textile. An automated irrigation and drainage system ensures an even supply of water and efficient water consumption.

Living Walls
Mobilane WallPlanter
The Mobilane Living Green Wall WallPlanter system uses the same screen meshing as the green screens. It is very strong, 5mm high carbon, hot dipped galvanized steel. Each planter box, weighing around 1,450kg saturated, contains 65 shoots of Ivy typically Hedera helix “Woerner” per screen.
Each screen is rooted in and grown to the full height required before installation into planter boxes, made from 3mm ship grade aluminum measuring 500mm deep and 500mm wide by length options of 3900, 2600 or 1300. They incorporate a 10mm drainage matting at the base of the planter, which ensures no blocking of the drainage system by the plant roots. They are insulated for both heat and cold and have the capability to protect the roots from either eventuality.
The specialized planting media ensures lifetime stability of the root zone area with minimal loss of volume. It’s stabilized porous structure ensures all water and feed is delivered directly to the plant root system and is easily accessed by the plants, ensuring minimal wastage of water and feed. This structure ensures a high level of oxygen in the planting media.
Due to the weight of the WallPlanter system, a robust support structure is required. This support system can be installed from ground level or be attached directly to the building depending on the strength of the structure. The planters are located on to the structure using a crane. For the supply of water and nutrients, a plant room/area of at least 2m2 is required situated as close to the living wall as possible.
